We have a lot of farm lands here in the Netherlands, from tulip fields to grassy fields with sheep, cows or horses. So lots of inspiration for a country landscape design. I really wanted to do a non-directional landscape design to make the repeat more fun and abstract. And all the bright colors come from all the different kinds of morning lights, from a yellow summer morning to a purple winter and gray green foggy fall.
